Mat and Candy have long been planning to convert shipping containers into an eco-friendly, modern home. While this idea has been around for quite a while now, it still raises eyebrows with people who cannot imagine living in a "box". Well, we believe – in this case – it's all about "thinking inside the box" and invite you to follow our journey.

With a little imagination and passion (tendency to craziness?), a box can easily be transformed into a funky and functional house. The steel frame of the container gives you a simple outline to work with. It's like playing with building blocks. Remember?

Mat is an industrial designer by trade and an architect, photographer, artist by nature. He's the driving force behind anything to do with the design. Candy has a background in communications and sort of manages the project...ahem, the expectations. Anyhow, they work well together and have loads of fun along the way.
